For probably one of the few times, President Barack Obama showed the U.S. Senate logic beats out revenge every time, and of course the two main assholes pledge to drag this on and on and on.
The Senate failed to pass a disapproval resolution Thursday for the Iran nuclear accord.
Next week President Obama can scale back on U.S. sanctions. The U.S. and five other world powers negotiated the accord to constrain Iran's nuclear plans and provide relief from international sanctions.
President Obama was quoted saying; "We turn to the critical work of implementing and verifying this deal so that Iran cannot pursue a nuclear weapon."
"No amount of saying this issue is over make it over," said Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.
Followed up by House Speaker John (Boner) Boehner stating: "This debate is far from over, and frankly, it is just beginning.
"We'll use every tool at our disposal to stop, slow and delay this agreement."
Isn't that what happens? The House and the Senate approve a law, and President Obama signs it into law? Not in this political climate! Assholes!
Boner and McConnell have been on President's Obama for two terms. Can't they act like legislators who vote "For the people?." They act like children, and inappropriately for this office.
I am so sick of the lack of respect these mostly old, white men, pay to our U.S. Constitution, and Bill of Rights - and the presidency!
American voters, myself included, of course, should get term limits passed, and bring in new, fresh perspectives!

They're baaccck Call 'em!
The U.S.
Congress got back to work today, after many weeks on vacation, and it’s time to
tell our out-of-touch representatives what we want them to accomplish during
this short time before the holidays.
It will
be a busy session for Congress but they should be well-rested! Thank God(dess)!
Lol
Our reps
will consider many topics from a possible government shutdown (whooooo) and the
Deny Americans the Right to Know (DARK) Act, (passed by the House) which bows
down to big food corporations that don’t want GMO labeling, despite the fact nine
out of 10 Americans favor GMO labeling. Why don’t our reps listen? Oh, they do!
Remember
it all comes down to money.
Big
business, Feminists, religious fanatics, advocates for the rich and poor and
others are very vocal. And it’s important for all Americans
who give a shit to get moving no pun intended lol Our representatives are very
accessible – a phone call away.
I will
be calling on several topics. First and foremost, I am against any more
investigations, hearings, or anymore BS about Benghazi or Planned Parenthood.
Enough with the e-mail and doctored videos! Do what is right. We are spending
millions that could be better spent!
Next, I
want them to stop putting conditions and clandestinely other unrelated issues
in other bills. I hate that!
I want
them to increase funding to Planned Parenthood, as it is often the only option
for women’s healthcare. I want GMO labeling.
I don’t
want another war anywhere! I want the U.S. to take in more refugees and stop
the tragedy on the other side of the world!
We are all humans! Have some compassion!
I also want
term limits brought up to the table. Many, many members of Congress have served
more than 50 years in office! Some have been in office nearly 80 years! Congressional
seats should have four-year limits as to let other people with other perspectives
to help lead our nation.
And, man
oh man, stop the friggin partisan bullshit. Support our president, whoever that
may be.

Labor Day a joke
Today, the working(wo)mans
holiday, Labor Day, was celebrated by a day off for some, and more workers, who
are barely making a step out of check-to-check living with the humiliating $7
an hour going to jobs, whose bosses observe the day by holding SALES!
I remember when the holiday
would result in empty streets and smells of barbecue.
Pueblo is known as Steel
City and was once a Labor-run town. Everyone knew someone who worked at the
Steel Mill – both of my grandpa’s did. There are still labor unions, but they
are few and far-between, thanks to the anti-worker extremists funded by
billionaires.
Our ancestors built the
railways West, and now Mr. Warren Buffet is reaping the rewards – although he
is quite a philanthropist.
President Grover Cleveland
made Labor Day a national holiday the first Monday in September, in 1909;
although labor unions had pressed for acknowledgement for many years before
that.
Colorado was one of the
first states to recognize Labor Day, more than six years before the U.S.
Congress made it a national holiday.
Now, anti-worker groups try to restrict
rights of teachers, firefighters, police officers, nurses and other people who
serve the public to have a say in wages – at a time when union workers could be
rebuilding infrastructure and bridges!
President
Barack Obama claims there have been nearly 14 million private-sector jobs
created since 2010, and 66 consecutive months of private-sector job growth. How
is that prosperity being shared?
The group of New York City fast food workers started the
global movement Fight for 15, for a raise in the minimum wage, and more and
more workers are starting such movements. It is just the right thing to do.
