I feel compelled to write again before the historic election Nov. 8, when Americans have the choice/chance to elect the first female President of the United States.
Democrat Sen. Hillary Clinton, former secretary of state, is up against the Republican's pick, misogynist/racist Donald Trump, former host of 'Celebrity Apprentice', for our nation's highest honor of POTUS (President of the United States).
The last four Presidents have endorsed Clinton; and many other Republican legislators have refused to endorse Trump. The choice should be clear at this point as Trump has made disparaging comments about Women, Latinos, Black, and disabled persons. The man wants to outlaw Muslims and deport 11 million Americans who are slow on the path to citizenship, but still pay taxes and work here!
There has never been an election season like this one. Trump has been disrespectful of the U.S. Constitution and the office of the President. He has incited his supporters to violence and there have been outbreaks of hurtful and untrue things about the political system and Clinton, herself, and her husband former President Bill Clinton.
It has disgusted me to no end. But this election is so important because the differences between the candidates have never been so far apart. I do believe anyone who votes for Trump is a racist.
Clinton has been endorsed by Colin Powell, who served under two Republican Presidents. She has been endorsed by unions representing educators, nurses, the steel industry and Americans across the board - every gender, race and creed.
Women make up 53 percent of America's voting-age population. Seriously, isn't it time to let the females lead the country for awhile? Perhaps a woman can have more empathy, more consideration before we send young people to war. Clinton definitely is more experienced to lead this nation.
If women don't get behind this candidate, we may have to wait another hundred years or so to have another woman given the chance to break the highest glass ceiling ever!
Any woman who is not voting for Clinton has not paid attention to comments made by Trump himself. This man has boasted about sexual assaults he has gotten away with over his life!
Anyone who votes (or writes in) another candidate than Clinton, is giving that vote to Trump. Anyone who won't vote this year is giving their vote to Trump. And for those who say, 'I don't have to vote for a woman, just because she is a woman.' I say, 'Yes! Yes, you do!'
This election is too important to sit this one out. It's best to vote early, too. Many states have already opened up for early voting. There are enough methods to vote that make it easy for every American. Not only is it the only time (in four years) you can make your voice heard, it is your civic duty.

Debate musings
OMG! The national debate Monday evening (Must-See TV!) showed such a clear-cut choice for our next (and first female) President of the United States Sen. Hillary Clinton.
I have not written much about this (farce of a) election. This Donald Trump, the Republican nominee for President, is So Disrespectful of our nation's Office (and of Women, the LGBT community, Disabled, Blacks and Latinos, and, well, Americans)! AND, that's why I haven't written much. You can't argue with crazy.
However. I did say that same thing during and after debates with our last two Bush (debacle) Administrations. AND Americans voted that family in twice!
God(desses) help us! Tell everyone you know to vote Nov. 8, in our 58th quadrennial Presidential election. It is a Federal law employers give ALL employees time off to vote; and you can register to vote at the polls with identification this year.
The only thing I will write until after votes are counted is: 'Bout fucking time we have a Woman in the White House. I hope Americans agree.

Two months to election
Haven't written for a while because, seriously, I was waiting for this (GOP candidate Donald) Trump nightmare to end, but it seems to be true and it does seem to go on and on and on.
Luckily, we only have 65 days left until America's General Election for President of the United States. I truly believe if you vote for Trump, you are a racist! He has shown us many times he is a racist; (misogynist and confused liar) but I don't want to waste any of our energies writing about him.
To those who say: 'I am not voting for either of them;' I say you are bringing a racist closer to the White House. And by not exercising your vote, you are giving up your only chance in four years to let the lawmakers know: 'Hey we are out here, and we need help, too.'
To those who say: 'I am not going to vote for Hillary Clinton (the Democrat candidate) just because she is a woman.' I say, if you are a woman, yes, yes (!) you do HAVE to vote for her because she is a woman.'
I didn't become a feminist fighting for Title IX and the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA, which has been before Congress for more than 30 consecutive years! They deny it each year.) for you to run around and not support issues and people who believe women should be given the same rights as men. Have some respect.
Besides, Women make up 53 percent of American voters, and it is about time we had a woman in the White House! I don't know about you, but in my 55 years, I am sick and tired of wealthy white men making decisions that affect my life!
To all men who have wives, mothers, sisters, daughters, you should be keeping them in mind when you vote! Don't you think this country deserves a woman in the White House?
And finally to those who say (for the first time in their voting lives) 'I am going to vote Green, Libertarian, etc. etc.' I say, this year, you have a responsibility to other Americans to ensure Trump does not make it into office. The consequences are just too scary.
Clinton is the obvious choice because she knows what to do to keep our country safe and our citizens thriving. She can hit the ground running, and it's up to the idiots (Republicans) in Congress to support her as President (instead of sitting on their collective asses for the past eight years refusing to support our first Black President Barack Obama.)
Those two-year elections for Congress should have the highest voter response than any because these are the people who make the laws. Thank God more women have gotten in the House and Senate than ever before. Now, we just need to vote (!) to make both houses Blue again. : )
We have an opportunity, my fellow Americans, to elect a person who is more compassionate, with more empathy; who knows how to do the job, and has contacts worldwide; and who has literally been working her whole life to finally crash this final glass ceiling.
Hillary Clinton IS going to be our next President if we all vote!
My advice: Better get used to it!
