Things change. Right?

Thank you for coming to my blog! (Sticking with me...) Since djt was elected, this blog has been neglected.  Honestly, I have suffered from some sort of community anxiety disorder but more on that later.  I wrote "Angry White Syndrome " May 8, 2016 ...  Just thought it is interesting to revisit.

There is a group of people who have been forgotten by lawmakers prior to the second term of our President Barack Obama. It's a faction of Americans who are pissed off that they haven't gotten their fair share of the wealth in this country - despite the fact they have been watching the GOP Congress take away the Middle Class.

The men and women (mostly White) fuel their anger through FAUX (Fox) News and right-wing-owned, opinionated TV, Radio and Print Media.

There has always been Angry White Men, with dutiful wives voting their way, syndrome before in our history: Played out by the KKK, in the Civil Rights Movement in the 1960s. The group, who demonstrate the Angry White Syndrome is still active in this country.

Seeds were planted by anti-Obama racists like the Tea Party, which was successful in filling Congress with like-minded racists, who are demonstrating  every day by sitting on their collective asses, instead of addressing social problems and subsequent legislation, while President Obama is in office,

Why didn't we address that fact this Congress vowed during President Obama's first term, seven years ago, to fight him every step of the way? To do this, they just denied any and all legislation for Human services. How can our elected Congress members refuse to do their job, and are allowed to, for nearly 8 years now???

FUN FACT: Did you know your Congress eliminated breakfast for our American troops fighting in Afghanistan? Effective last October, members of Congress claimed it was necessary to fights costs of the war(s). This despite the fact that half of our country's budget is allotted to the war efforts. WTF?

So, now we have "the" Donald Trump, who has made fun of Women, Disabled and Latinos, like a big bully - right in front of our Ears! He is well on his way to the nomination, on the backs of Disenfranchised by people like Trump!  Sad - and scary!

It is mind-blowing to me Trump has continued this far. Aides say openly he "will change after the election."  Change to what?

Trump has led supporters in a Nazi salute, made fun of Americans, and wants women back in the 1950s.

I try not to worry because fair-minded Americans won't vote for Trump - if they vote at all.

Last year, 36 percent of Americans voted in this last Presidential election. When Presidents win, they generally win in elections when more than 50 percent vote. How sad is that?

When President Obama was campaigning he drew crowds over 100,000, while in contrast Trump hasn't seen more than 50,000 in a turnout.

I believe about 70 percent of voters are already decided, and the millions of dollars being spent on the commercialization until November is just too far fetched for me to get my head around. Disgusting!

Tell your neighbors, friends, relatives, people all around you to register and vote in the November Presidential election.  I have faith Americans will do the right thing and support Sen. Hillary Clinton now and for our sake, get a Women in the White House.

Not 'organic,' or aimed at DJT

Just wanted to set the record straight: The annual Women's Equality Day Saturday has been on the Washington Mall since about the time of the suffragettes. lol

Careful planning by nonprofit 'sane' groups get things done, such as Women's Equality Day.  It was not an "organic" movement against President Donald (Jackass) Trump, who was inaugurated Friday to a somewhat (hahahaha) smaller crowd on the Mall.

President Trump's first official news conference Saturday evening to the American people was a tantrum that his somber inauguration was far more crowded. Trump forgets photos don't lie, and the 'Nazi' U.S. press do not doctor things.

As a veteran of the Women's March for Equality, as called in 1982 and 2010, there have been 'sister' marches throughout the United States every year, too - while not in the numbers like Jan. 21, 2017. In the late 1970s, I marched with women for equality in my small hometown!

The pink started with 'girlie pink power' and some other feminist groups, such as Code Pink, and Move On have fringed off to fight their own specific causes; but join in solidarity with equality for women. The Susan G. Komen rip-off foundation started using pink for Cancer survivors in the early 1990s, I believe.

The sea of pink at this year's March (not rally) took off when a video of two hippie female U.S. military Veterans making these easy hats for friends, went viral earlier this year.

The Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) has been before Congress every year since the 1970s, and it still has not made it to the 'light of day' in the House.

It was uplifting to see so many marchers for women's equality on every continent on Planet Earth!

And, hopefully, everyone who voted for anyone else but. Sen. Hillary Clinton last November, who gave this election to President Trump (I do throw up a little when I write that!) are feeling a bit like shit this weekend.

Stay tuned. It is going to be a bumpy ride.

My trust has been broken

Americans have, somewhat, conceded Billionaire businessman Donald Trump was elected to President of the United States instead of the most qualified candidate in history, Hillary Clinton.

I am still so pissed Women did not vote to be represented in the highest honor of this country. And , of course, the fact a racist, misogynist, pig will lead our country for the next four years.

Still president-elect until inauguration day Jan. 20, Trump put together as cabinet of old, white men, who are just like him. He has ordered all U.S. Ambassadors to quit on that day.

He and his cronies have vowed to repeal the Affordable Care Act, dubbed by Republicans 'Obamacare' after our President Barack Obama, who has served this country valiantly for eight years.  More than 16 million Americans from the poorest demographic will lose health insurance.

Trump, according to his web site also vowed to cut taxes for the wealthiest Americans by 15 percent; and double taxes for the lowest income Americans. Abortions will be outlawed as will same-sex marriages and marijuana.

Did you know: Up to 1.1 million names were deleted from voter rolls via a program called Crosscheck. Nearly 850 polling stations were shut down since the Supreme Court gutted the Voting Rights Act; and it was the first presidential election without the protection of the Act.

In addition, the FBI, CIA and 15 other U.S. intelligence agencies have verified the Russians interfered in the 2016 election. Trump wants to get rid of these agencies, it was reported Jan. 4.

Also 50 voters in the Electoral College voted illegally. My trust in the system has been broken, even though I held on for many, many years trusting the process.

Not only did a 'majority' of Americans miss the one viable chance to make herstory by getting a female elected to the White House, they also made it possible to have a majority of Republicans (Trump's party) in control of both houses of Congress.

Trump is not even President yet and he has already changed the fabric of this country. Shame on you if you voted for him. Call your Congressional representatives to let them know if you disagree the way things are going. We Are The People. And we have power.
