more valuable than a man's life'

Call Congress to say yes!

I am somewhat relieved that it looks like there are reportedly enough U.S. Senators to support the proposed deal with Iran that stops its potential paths toward a nuclear weapon; but it all depends what happens when Congress acts within the next 50 days or so.

You know, American politics: 1) Money (bribes) is a powerful motivator, and 2) It hardly longer acts “For the people.” And most of the hopeful presidential candidates feel the way hopeful Marco Rubio, who said, "When I'm president, we won't just reverse President Obama's dangerous Iran deal. We will increase sanctions on Iran." So scary!

I was so appalled when many Democrat Congressman didn’t support our Democratic President Barack Obama! More than 5 world powers support Obama’s deal. If Congress prevails in stopping this deal, it will have many detrimental affects. It will show the world the American cannot deliver on its commitments.

Unfortunately, those Republican Congressman have been hell-bent on opposing anything Obama does during his Presidency. I grew up in a world that respected the President. Families had pictures of the President on their walls! They elected him because his views and focus were reflections of them.

That is why it is extremely important we bombard the D.C. switchboard with calls. Visit their office while they are in town. Make contact!

The phone numbers are: 1-800-828-0498 1-800-459-1887 1-800-614-2803 1-866-340-9281 1-866-338-1015 1-866-220-0044 1-877-851-6437

On another note: I am not surprised Patriots QB Tom Brady beat the NFL-impost suspension of four games for illegally deflating footballs that supported the team's efforts to win the Super Bowl. It al comes down to money. Fucking cheaters!

Adjustment requires patience

Coming back home from the ‘big city smushed in a small place,’ I am becoming more aware transition is an adjustment.

In no order of importance: I am re-acclimating to the town, seeing new developments and looking for past haunts.

Getting used to the differences between Boston and Pueblo, Colo. has not been easy. I woke up the other day excited, thinking: What a great day to go to the beach!

Streets are so much wider, and drivers, so much nicer! I have to stop my habit of unnecessary road rage. It also used to take me between 45 minutes and an hour-and-a-half to go 7 miles in Boston.

People actually smile, and say pleasantries, and wait for a response here in town! I like it!

Trying to fit back in peoples’ lives, as a different person just out of treatment, also is not easy!  I have to find their rhythm, be patient, and ensure I am following my core values.

Adjusting to the environment, a different state, time zone and state of mind, and finding balance, literally and figuratively is not coming easy for me, either.

It is amazing how past, painful memories lunge back at a person. In an instant, reversion to a past role should be avoided, which is difficult.

My go to: Patience. Talk less. Listen more. I just wish I would react properly earlier. Baby steps.

My sister told me today people don’t always want to know my opinion.

“But,” I said, "I am a truth teller.”  Don’t be, she responded. I will heed her advice and slow down on my truth telling! lol

I tell you, though, one of the biggest adjustments is getting used to the big, beautiful Colorado sky!  It’s hard to keep my eyes on the road!

I’ve always been a mountain girl, but I nearly cry when I see the big expanse of my beloved Rocky Mountains. I am so grateful to be home!

Get your forgiveness here

Pope Francis is allowing 'condemned Catholic murderers' to be forgiven Dec. 8 until Nov. 26 during Jubilee (Holy Year), which has mercy as its theme this year.

It was a surprise to me – as I know how abortion is basically outlawed by the Catholic Church. Aaah, the church of hypocrites!  ‘Abortion is a HUGE sin, but it will be okayed this year ONLY.”

In this action, priests have discretion to allow women (who have borne the secret of abortion) and who have repented with a "contrite heart," according to Reuters news, to be forgiven - no questions asked.

Remember it is at the discretion of male priests, who been heartless to the decision for so many years.

I am not Catholic, but I know a hell of lot of non-practicing Catholics who left because the Church did not evolve with societies' needs. I can bet now, all over the world, Catholics are split between anger and relief.

Catholics believe abortions are a grave sin that results in automatic excommunication.

In his action Tuesday, the Pope had mercy on “so many women who bear in their heart the scar of (the) agonizing and painful decision,” to have an abortion, according to Reuters. Pope Francis did not mention those who provide abortions.

This is an unprecedented action, as he is the first pope, in 1,300 years, who addresses taboo tolerance, including gay rights. Francis is rockin’ and rollin’ the Catholic doctrines.

I say: Man! About friggin’ time and why there are no consequences for MEN who get women pregnant in the first place, God’s sake?

Generations of women had to lie to their religion to be accepted! What is wrong with this picture?

I believe there is a lot of lying in organized religions, and that's why I opted out  nearly 30 years ago to find what works of me.

I am glad I am a practicing Holy Roller, Metaphysical, with Chakra specialties, Earth, energy, spirits and Guardians follower, with aspects of Buddist, Native American, Wiccan, Hindu, Feng Shui, and many other religions’ beliefs. My Dad would think I was whacked-out, if he only knew.
